One of my favorite natural wonders in Philadelphia. They recently renovated the section next to the train station, and the ducks there are so lovely. I also enjoy the bird watching, goats, chickens and bee hives. There are multiple working farms, private gardens, joyous fauna and wildlife. They often host events and educational workshops for the community, I keep up with them on IG. It’s really an amazing space for all ages to enjoy.

They offer so many free or low cost programs I recommend going to the website. We are currently enjoying fun day Sundays from 1pm - 4pm. They were even there on mothers day. The kids will have a good time, do some crafts and run off some energy. The staff here are amazing and very friendly. You will have a good time give it a try. They also have a small food stand for purchasable items for light delightful food all under $5. You have to park on the farm side for fun day and you will see the entrance sign.

We enjoyed hiking the loop trails with our leashed dog on a sunny fall weekend. The highlight was discovering an outdoor exhibit of animal totem paintings by Ann Hopkins Wilson on the Beech Hollow Trail. The exhibit will be up for another few months. We parked at the train station or look for street parking along Washington Lane. Since the Arboretum is a popular destination for weddings, the heritage garden and area around the Francis Cope House were off limits. This park is a haven for groundhogs. We saw a critter city of holes around McNabbtown field. It's a lovely destination to enjoy fall color.

1/4 to 1/2 day experience. Nice grounds. Nice staff. Picnic area. Free to enter. Quite a few acres across the street also.

Everything was beautiful. Awesome service. The food was good. We came for a wedding and everything was beautiful. It rained but they had a beautiful tent set up. The cocktail hour had delicious apps: caramelized onions and brussel sprouts, cheese steak egg rolls, and a beautiful charcuterie table. 10/10

Love the place. I remember going there for an after school program. Helped with animals, melt marshmallows, helped with events, planted trees etc. Great place.
